John Claude “J.C.” Martin
John Claude Martin, 44, of Lynchburg passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 at his residence. He was the husband of Elizabeth Rene’ Martin.
Born January 18, 1966 in Lynchburg he was a son of Charlie J. “Buck” Martin of Rustburg and Sandra M. Schmidt of Newport News. J.C. was a US Navy Veteran and an employee of Areva. He will forever be in the hearts of those who’s lives he touched.
In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his step father, Frederick M. Schmidt of Newport News; 4 children, Tiffany M. Martin of Lynchburg, Amber N. Martin of Madison Heights, Ashley E. Morrison of Longview, WA and Chance B. Morrison of Lomore, CA; his brother, Mark A. Martin of Chesapeake and sister Amanda M. Samuels of Rustburg.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 31, 2010 from 2-4:00 pm at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
